England Have Confirmed Two-Test Series Against Sri Lanka

This series was first scheduled in March this year. But due to the covid-19, it was laid-off and now rescheduled. Furthermore, England will depart for Sri Lanka on 2 January & will play two Tests in Galle. The first test will be played on 14 and the second will be on 22 January.

Both crickets boards The ECB and SLC (Sri Lanka Cricket) have arranged their security plan. The travel plan and the bio-security plan to complete the previously postponement matches.

England team will complete the quarantine period in Hambantota and then start their practice. The English side is yet not announced expected to be announced soon. Also, Jonny Bairstow can rejoin the test side for England. He did not play any test match for one year and excited to be a part of the team once again.

Due to the tour of South Africa and IPL season the fast bowler Jofra Archer could be rested. As he has a lengthy spell earlier but yet it is not announced officially.

Three one day international matches were just canceled after two of the players tested covid positive. After further schedule testing players will allow going home. The last time both teams were played each other in November 2018. The 3 test matches series was won by England side with 3-0.
