Arya Rajendran was born on January 12, 1999. According to an Indian newspaper, he got 54 votes, including three independents, for the mayoral election. While her opponent, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, got 35 votes. Another candidate received only nine votes.

Arya Rajendran is a part of the SFI (Students Federation of India) & she is the standing president of the children’s wing in Blasangam state. In the local body elections, the Left Democratic Front’s CPI (Communist Party of India) won a majority of 51 seats. While the BJP-led coalition NDA won 35 seats.
