North Carolina: Green tea, grapefruit, and dark chocolate have been found to contain a special chemical. That prevents the spread of another but dangerous strain of the coronavirus, the “stork cove” virus.
The virus contains a type of enzyme called MPRO. Due to MPRO, the virus spreads rapidly, but green tea and a type of musk grape contain a chemical. That prevents the virus from multiplying. The enzyme that spreads the coronavirus is a kind of protease. And it causes both good and evil, ie it is necessary for health.
So viruses also rely on them to increase their numbers.
Now, DU Xie of the University of North Carolina and his colleagues say. What if the yeast of the Sars Cov 2 virus is somehow controlled. The growing number of viruses will stop.
The central protease of this virus plays an important role in the spread of the virus. Somehow this yeast kills the virus itself. When a green tea chemical was put on the virus in the lab, it stuck to the MPRO and prevented it from doing anything.
Although grapes and dark chocolate have this property, green tea has the most unique properties because it contains five chemicals that destroy MPRO. The analysis of this research was done by the US Department of Agriculture & published in the journal Frontiers in Plant Science.
